Who knew the silver troy ounces my grandmother would give us every christmas would pay off. According to the latest estimates on WSJ.com, the 25+ ounces I have in safe keeping are worth somewhere between $400-500. Not bad for government work, as they say. So when the zombie apocalypse hits, I'll be bartering silver coins for food and guns...
